ADOPTABLES
Last updated: 06/29/26. Note that this is still a WIP so rules may be changed or added. Terms apply to ALL adopts, whether they've been bought in the past, present or future. When applied, please credit me for the design.
English is not my first language, so sometimes I might have difficulty understanding requests or modifications. I ask you to be patient with me!by commissioning me or bidding and/or buying my adoptables, you agree to all of the terms below:1. ALL PRICES ARE IN USD, and via PayPal only !! There is a 4.5% conversion fee added to the final price. Payment should also be sent in usd - I will be the one sending the request, and payment should be received from the PayPal email given. If through voucher, I must be able to contact the voucher and request it through them instead. No refunds will be provided, no matter the reason.2. Adopts are not necessarily first come, first served. The first to be able to pay has priority ; upfront payments are prioritized over holds or payment plans. In the same way, commercial usage is prioritized over personal usage if the money has not been sent yet. Commercial usage is always included in the highest AB/SP. During auctions, it will be included once a certain amount has been reached. Commercial fee may be purchased at a later date.
3. Upfront payments should be within the 24 hours after confirming the claim. If there is no payment within that time range, and without confirming a hold/payment plan, the adoptable will be automatically considered as "cancelled" and I will go to the 2nd highest bidder/2nd in line instead.4. Please disclose if you need a payment plan or a hold when bidding or claiming my adoptables. Both need a downpayment of at least SB price and can be extended up to 1 month maximum. This may be extended upon inquiry, but overall depends on the price and interest. Until downpayment is paid, there is no guarantee that the character will go to you.5. DO NOT BID ABOVE YOUR MEANS. Make sure that you are able to pay the price within the timeframe. Backing out will result in a strike. Strikes may lead to blacklisting ; 2 strikes and you're in. You MUST keep your offer valid until the character is set as "closed" or transferred to the new owner (which means that you should be ready to keep your offer valid for at least a few days, until the payment has been secured).6. All adoptable designs and prices are final. Please do not negotiate/bargain the price with me. In the same way, please do not guilt-trip me, harass me, constantly beg or of the sort for a design, or ask for extra art unless I offered it myself/included it once a certain tier is reached. While I do genuinely appreciate the interest, it makes me uncomfortable. This also means I will not edit the adopt after purchase, but you are free to do so yourself as long as a copy of the original design is kept somewhere, in case of reselling/retrading/gifting, etc. If redesigning or editing, it should look somewhat similar to the original adoptable; please keep a copy of the original version somewhere, in case of trade/resell.
7. Redesigning, reselling, trading and gifting are all okay but cannot be at a higher price than bought, unless extra art or add-ons have been bought. The price should be proportional to how much YOU have spent on the character.8. If you already have pending money owed, you must pay the owed amount before making any new purchase. OR, you can also pay for both in full at payment date. In case of payment plan, the new amount will be added accordingly to each planned amount.
EX : If you were paying $50 a week for X adopt, you would be adding an extra $50 for Y adopt to it for a total of $100/week instead in order to pay both of them off.9. Chargebacks after purchasing will result in an immediate revocation of the ownership of the design and will go back to me, meaning I will reclaim its rights and ownership. I am allowed to use it for any other purposes, such as for resale/regifting, etc.
I will transfer the ownership of the character with all the files after I have received the entirety of the money. You will have full ownership after the full payment. DO NOT CLAIM IT AS YOURS, commission art of them, etc. if you haven’t paid in its entirety.10. I usually delete the artwork after 1 day - 2 weeks from final delivery to clear my storage and prevent lags, so please ensure that everything you need has been delivered within this time period.11. If you have set a profile to "private" on a design of mine, please make sure I an authorized user and able to access it since I do like to keep track of my adopts.12. The adoptable can be used as a new outfit or an alternate outfit for a pre-existing OC. It can also be used for streaming purposes (VTuber), only if the commercial fee has been paid.
*Note : Its worth is based on how you have acquired the character.
EX : If originally bought for $200 but resold for $100, their new worth is $100. If through trade, its monetary value can only be worth to how much you spent on the traded character (for example, if this character was worth $200 and was traded with a character with $100 spent on them, the new worth is $100. You cannot sell it for $200.)13. I have the right to post the artwork on any of my platforms or to self-promote the piece. Clients cannot claim to have made the art/design ; use it for AI training or upload it in AI sites ; use it for NFT or similar purposes ; use it for commercial usage without paying the commercial fee, etc.By violating my TOS, you will be put on my blacklist. First offence will have 1 strike ; 2 strikes and you're in. Some offences may immediately result in blacklisting (such as chargeback, refusing to pay, etc)If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask !!
GENERAL
Last updated 12/24/24. You will not be affected by the new update if you have requested before the update, but will in the future. by requesting a commission, you agree and have read all of the following:~ If there is no response within 24hrs without a valid reason, the commission will be automatically considered as “canceled” (no refund). This will only apply if I am the one to initiate the conversation (ex. a question abt the OC, detail, price, etc., update on the cms, etc.) - in other words pls answer within a day, & if you know you sometimes cannot answer within this period let me know beforehand - if not I will automatically assume you are not interested for xyz reasons.~ I sometimes livestream my commission work (therefore wips). Please let me know if you’d like the work to be private (+fee).~ You can cancel the commission at any stage before lineart, but by doing so (or by backing out, unagreed chargeback, not paying and dipping, etc) you agree that I am allowed to use the scrap as a YCH, adopt, sale, etc or for other purposes. I do not offer refunds for canceling.~ The commission request can be declined if I am uncomfortable or feel like I may not deliver the commission well enough. I am allowed to refuse, with or without reason.~ Refunds can only be given if I am unable to finish the commission. Otherwise, no refund will be given, no matter the reason.~ Payment is via Paypal or Kofi. Full payment either upfront, or at approval of the sketch. For skeb style: upfront only. There is a 4% paypal conversion fee added to the final price. I'll let you know which options I can do.~ Deadline may vary depending on the request and, most of all, my motivation, so I ask you to be patient with me. It can take me anywhere between 1 day-5 months to complete, though it may vary depending on the commission type & my circumstances, and can be more or less. I mostly work on commissions during the weekend as I am a student, so there is slow progress, please don't ask for updates every few days or rush me unless I haven't sent you anything for 2.5-3+ weeks (if SKEB : inquire only after max deadline! all of my clients are on my trello, I am aware of who I need to do, just takes me some time sometimes.) thank you for your understanding ^^~ Small correction changes purposes can be applied after sent work, if skeb style. If not, changes can be applied whenever (no major changes after sketch - extra fee if so, unless a mistake from my part)~ The client can use the piece for anything non-commercial (printing it for personal use, using it as a reference for future use/other people, etc). Otherwise, if commercial = double the price, or additional TBD fee.~ Commercial usage includes promotional art, cover, streaming graphic (loading screen, etc.), merch, vtuber reference sheets that will be used as reference for commercial related purposes – basically anything that you'll be directly using for the purpose of gaining $. If you are not sure, you can let me know & I will tell you whether it is or not.~ Clients cannot resell the piece, claiming to have made the art, use it for AI, use for NFT or similar, use it for commercial without paying the commercial or royalty fee, etc.Add 🎀 anywhere in the form to confirm you read and accept everything. I will still accept if you don’t, but it will be proof that if anything happens that was stated in my TOS, it will not be my fault.
